The Basics: The Insert Menu

The Insert Menu provides access to the Trezi Asset Library. The Library contains 800+ 3D objects to be used in your designs.

In the video below you will watch a simple design change using the Asset Library and a few other Trezi features to complete the design change. The 2 chairs in the living space will be replaced with a chair from the Asset Library.
  • First, the 2 chairs to be replaced will be selected and deleted.
  • Then the Asset Library will be opened from the Insert menu and the user will browse to the category of Furniture - Mobile to select a chair and clicking the Start Insert button.
  • The asset is inserted into the Work Space. You may place one or more assets during the insert process.
  • One chair is placed then the Asset Library is closed.
  • The one chair will be rotated and moved into place. As the chair is moved, the bounding box of the asset snaps to the grid based on the end and mid-points of the bounding box.
  • Using the Duplicate tool the second chair will be aided to the Work Space and moved into place constraining the movement along one axis.
  • Once the exercise is completed, the Grid is turned off and then a screenshot is taken to share with others on the project.
