How do I use the meetings controls in collaborative meetings
Introduction
The meeting controls tool is your one stop control point for all things in a collaborative meeting. You can see who are the invited and present attendees meeting along with their rights. You can also mute yourself and others for controlling voice communication. Here's how you access and use the meeting controls window:
- When you join a collaborative meeting session, the meeting controls window can be accessed from the Collab menu
Host meeting controls window
- If you are the host of the meeting, you will see the host meeting control window:
- The top section shows the schedule of the meeting along with the options to mute yourself for voice calls (the mic icon button). You can leave the meeting by clicking the leave meeting button.
- Under the attendee controls section, you can set the attendee movement controls. 'Free movement mode' will allow all the attendees to go wherever they want to in the model. 'Follow mode' will teleport the attendees to the host's location every time the host teleports.
- Under the attendee controls section, you can use the 'Mute all' button to mute all the attendees of the meeting. You can use the 'Gather all' button to gather all the attendees around your location. Please note that the 'Gather all' control can only be used when Free Movement mode is active, the 'Gather all' button will be disabled when in 'Follow mode'.
- The user list section lists all present and invited users in meeting. Users present in the meeting will be shown with a colored icon before their name indicating their mode of joining (Desktop or VR mode). You can also see the rights they are assigned and the button to mute their voice next to it. If a user is muted, it'll have an orange muted speaker icon.
- Clicking on any attendee's name in the list will teleport you to the location of the attendee.
