Trezi 1.6 Release Notes

Trezi release 1.6 is now available. This release gives you access to your Trezi projects on any system that you login on as well as the tools to search and sort your projects from the launcher. Here are the complete release notes:

Trezi Viewer

New features and updates

  • Update: Trezi plugin for Rhino has been updated to stable channel - it improves data handling and compatibility of Rhino files. Please update the plugin from the Trezi launcher to version 1.0.0 to get this update.
  • Update: Trezi plugin for Revit - improved support for Revit materials.
  • Update: SketchUp files import into Trezi Viewer faster than before, reducing the loading time required.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed: an issue where assets from the library inserted into the scene did not show up in the Tabletop mode, 360 panos and videos.
  • Fixed: an issue where some materials were not getting parsed properly by the Revit plugin. Please update the Revit plugin from the Trezi launcher to version 1.2.0 to ensure that you get this fix.
  • Fixed: an issue where Trezi viewer would crashed when upload was clicked on 360 pano tool window when there was no internet connectivity.
  • Fixed: an issue that caused pano tours upload to failed if a project name contained spaces.
  • Fixed: material thumbnails not appearing as expected in object properties window and in scene materials in material picker.
  • Fixed: various issues around selection and manipulation of duplicated or pasted objects.
  • Fixed: an issue where objects inserted from the asset library would disappear from their place if their position was reset.
  • Fixed: an issue that caused Trezi viewer to crash when exiting from VR mode.

Known issues

  • Bug: Desktop mode UI scaling and rendering have some issues:
    • UI doesn't scale properly on monitors that have DPI scaling set to values other than 100%
    • The browser and the dialog windows are of fixed size and can not be resized right now
    • Icons in the menus are blurry and may be difficult to read

Trezi launcher

New features and updates

  • New: Projects now available as-you-go. You can now access and work on your Trezi projects on any system that you login on.
  • New: Project management updates!
    • You can now see the projects in grid and list views
    • You can now search and sort through the list of projects
    • The project view now shows a thumbnail of the model for easier identification of projects
    • You can now directly open the media folder containing screenshots and videos from the project window for easy sharing
  • New: Trezi launcher now shows stats from the source model after processing.
  • Update: the UI elements been updated to make better use of available screen space.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed: an issue where the "update" button shows up when internet is not connected even if Trezi viewer is already installed and updated.

Known issues

  • Bug: the project thumbnails may sometimes not appear in the project browser
  • Bug: project upload may sometimes fail during project creation / modification

Other

  • Update: Knowledge base articles have been added for the new project management features
