Trezi 1.8 Release Notes

Release 1.8 introduces Exterior rendering mode that significantly improves the rendering quality for exterior scenes by adjusting and improving various rendering properties. Also included in this release is support for SketchUp 2019 files and a bunch of bug fixes. Here are the complete release notes:

Trezi Launcher

New features and updates

  • New: Support for processing Sketchup 2019 files

  • New: Material changes from scene materials are now possible in collaborative meetings

  • New: The host can now gather attendees around him using the gather function in collaborative meetings

  • New: You can now upload your local libraries of geometries to Trezi cloud and use them in your Trezi workspaces. SketchUp and Revit files are supported for now.

  • Update: Trezi plugin for Revit has been updated to version 1.2.2 - please update your Revit plugin installation to this version if you want to use Revit files for collaborative meetings

  • Update: Trezi plugin for Rhino has been updated to version 1.2 - please update your Revit plugin installation to this version if you want to use Rhino files for collaborative meetings

Bug fixes

  • Fixed: an issue where Location tags and Layers from SketchUp were not getting processed

  • Fixed: an issue where textures referenced by an FBX were not getting read

  • Fixed: an issue where a user invited by editing a meeting did not receive the email notification for the invite

Trezi Viewer

New features and updates 

  • New: Exterior rendering mode: Exterior rendering mode provides significantly improved visuals for big exterior scenes

  • New: Ray-tracing support for screenshots using natural lighting (sun) as the light source

  • New: Support for Windows Mixed Reality VR headsets

Bug fixes

  • Fixed: an issue where trying to apply a new material to an object sometimes resulted in the viewer crashing

Known issues

  • Switching back to Default rendering mode from Exterior mode causes the visuals to be darker for the Default rendering mode till the next Viewer restart

  • Using the ray-tracer in models that are interior focused with little or no natural lighting coming in will come out dark.
