Get started with Trezi

Trezi has two parts:
  • Trezi Launcher
  • Trezi Viewer

Trezi Launcher

Trezi Launcher is the part of software which is used to perform following operations: 
  • Download and install different parts of the software
    • Trezi viewer application
    • Plugins
    • Asset Library
    • Sketchup PBR Materials
  • Create a project
  • Create/Join a collaboration meeting
  • Process a Model
  • Update the application/asset library whenevr a new version is available.
All these operations are segregated in different tabs. Tabs are located on the left panel of the Launcher. Different tabs available are:
  • What's new
  • Trezi
  • Asset Library
  • Projects
  • Meetings
  • Downloads
  • Settings
  • Trezi Support

What's new

This tab lists the updates that have been made in the latest version of Trezi.


Trezi

This tab provides the options to install Trezi Viewer application and various available plugins. Trezi Viewer is the part of software where you view the model; either in VR mode or in Desktop mode.


You can click on Download button to install Trezi Viewer and install buttons to install respective plugnis.

Asset Library Tab

This tab shows the status of asset library and provides the option to download it. 
You can download the asset library by clicking on 'Download' button against each asset library.


Projects Tab

You can view following sub-tabs:
  • Create new 
  • Recent Projects
  • My Projects

Create New 
This sub-tab helps you to create a new project in Trezi:
  • Enter a name for the project in first row
  • Click on 'Browse' button to select the model
  • Click on 'Start Processing' button. The button will change to 'Processing'. Once the processing is complete, the launch buttons will appear on screen. Click on 'Launch in Desktop' to start the project in Desktop mode or click on 'Launch in VR' button the start the project in VR mode.

Recent Projects
This sub-tab helps you to manage/launch your recent projects. This sub-tab shows latest 10 projects.
You can perform following operations:
  • View the projects in list view or thumbnail view.
  • Sort the projects by Date or Name.
  • Search for a particular project using the search option.
  • Launch a project in dektop/VR mode (screenshot below)


  • View the media files of the project
  • Delete the project
My Projects
This sub-tab helps you to manage/launch all your projects. 
You can perform following operations:
  • View the projects in list view or thumbnail view.
  • Sort the projects by Date or Name.
  • Search for a particular project using the search option.
  • Launch a project in dektop/VR mode.
  • View the media files of the project
  • Delete the project

Meetings

The Meetings tab allows you to create an collaborative meeting where you can review a model with other attendees in same immersive environment.
You can:
  1. Create a meeting
    1. Define the workspace for the meeting
    2. Select the date and time for the meeting
    3. Invite attendees using email addresses
    4. Define the rights of attendees: View right/Edit Right
  2. Join a meeting
  3. Edit a meeting
  4. End a meeting


Downloads Tab

This tab shows the current status of downloads of different components of Trezi.



Settings Tab

This tab shows the information about the different components installed and their current versions.

Trezi Support

Clicking on this tab will open Trezi knowledge base on your browser where you can search for different help articles. These articles are combines with screenshots and video snippets to help you while using Trezi.

Trezi Viewer

The projects launched in Desktop/VR mode are displayed in a seperate window known as Trezi Viewer.
