Move or Rotate an object

You can adjust the objects inside a model by moving it or rotating it. Transforming an object can be done in both modes: Desktop Mode and VR Mode

Desktop Mode

  • You can perform following trsnformations on an object:
    • Move an object
    • Rotate an object

Move an Object

  • To move an object you need to first select an object. You can select an object by clicking on the object using your mouse
  • The selected object will be displayed with a highlighted boundry line and a 'Object Properties' window will be displayed on the screen
  • Click on 'Transform' sub-menu in Object Properties menu. 
  • Select straight 4-arrows option to move the object around
  • 3 arrows will appear on the object showing the axes along which the object can be moved.

  • Click on any arrow and drag your mouse to move the object in that direction.

Rotate an Object

  • To rotate an object you need to first select an object. You can select an object by clicking on the object using your mouse
  • The selected object will be displayed with a highlighted boundry line and a 'Object Properties' window will be displayed on the screen
  • Click on 'Transform' sub-menu in Object Properties menu. 
  • Select round arrows option.
  • Curved lines will appear on the object showing the directions along which the object can be rotated.


  • Click on any curve and drag your mouse to rotate the object in that direction.

VR Mode

  • You can perform following trsnformations on an object:
    • Move an object
    • Rotate an object

Move an Object

  • To move an object you need to first select an object. You can select an object by clicking on the object using your controller's trigger. Point the controller at the object and click the trigger.
  • The selected object will be displayed with a highlighted boundry line and a 'Object Properties' window will be displayed on the left controller.
  • Click on 'Transform' sub-menu in Object Properties menu using your right controller. 
  • Select straight 4-arrows option to move the object around.
  • Directional arrows will appear on the object showing the axes along which the object can be moved.

  • If you want to move the object along a specific axis then press 'Menu' button on your controller to change the active axis.
  • Click on the arrow and move your controller to move the object in that particular direction.

Rotate an Object

  • To move an object you need to first select an object. You can select an object by clicking on the object using your controller's trigger. Point the controller at the object and click the trigger.
  • The selected object will be displayed with a highlighted boundry line and a 'Object Properties' window will be displayed on the screen
  • Click on 'Transform' sub-menu in Object Properties menu. 
  • Select round arrows option.
  • Curved lines will appear on the object showing the directions along which the object can be rotated.

  • If you want to rotate the object along a specific axis then press 'Menu' button on your controller to change the active axis.
  • Press trigger and move your controller to rotate the object in that direction.
