Use the Raytracing mode in screenshot tool

As of Release 1.8, you can now use an alternate Raytracing engine to render your screenshots. Raytraced screenshots will have higher fidelity of reflections and shadows and will generally look better.

Please note that this is an Alpha release of the Raytracing functionality - bugs and crashes are expected in some cases.

To use the Raytracing functionality, select 'Raytraced' under 'Output section' in the screenshot tool.

Please note the requirements and the limitations of the Raytracer in the present state:
  1. It requires a NVIDIA GPU -it will not work with AMD and Intel GPUs.
  2. It only has support for natural lighting for now - interior scenes without portals for natural lighting will render dark.
  3. Trying to render at 4K resolutions may result in crashes on GPUs with low amount of VRAM.
  4. Rendering complex scenes on entry-level GPUs (like the GTX 1060) can take a lot of time.
