Create a 360 Tour

You can easily take 360 tour by following these steps:
  • Add Nodes
  • Connect Nodes
  • Upload
  • Editing the Nodes
  • Location of 360 Tour

Add Nodes

  • Goto Share menu and click on 'Create 360 tour' option. This will take you to the tabletop mode and open the 360 tour creation widget on screen.

  • Using the section cut frame, horizontally cut your model to reveal enough of the 'floor plan' to locate your 'nodes' for the tour.
  • Click on 'Add Node'. This will activate a node which you can place anywhere in the area by clicking on a surface. 

  • Click on a surface to place the node. Since this is the first node that is being placed, it will be the starting point of 360 tour. The node number is displayed in a banner on the top of the node. 


  • You can change the height/position of the node by selecting the ball beneath the number banner and dragging it to the required height.
  • You can preview the 360 image from this node in the preview window of 360 tour widget. click and drag in the preview area to rotate the image.

  • To add next node click on 'Add node' again and click on another point in the area to place the second node. The two nodes are connected with a line which represents the jump points i.e. in 360 tour you can jump from point 1 to point 2 and vice-versa.
  • Similarly you can add multiple nodes.

Connect Nodes

Connecting the nodes also define the path and jump points of 360 tour.

  • To connect nodes, click on 'Add link' in 360 tour widget.

  • Click on the two nodes represented by ball to connect them.
  • A line will appear indicating that the nodes have been connected.

Upload

  • Once all the required nodes have been placed and links have been added, click on 'Upload' option in 360 tour widget to start uploading the tour.

  • The status of upload will then be displayed in the widget. The button will change to Preparing then to % done

  • When the process is complete, 'Upload' option will become active again.

Editing the Nodes

Remove Nodes

  • To remove nodes, click on 'Remove' in 360 tour widget.

  • Click on the node represented by ball to remove it.
  • The node will be removed.
  • To remove links, click on 'Remove' in 360 tour widget.
  • Click on the banner in the link connecting the nodes to remove it.
  • The link will be removed.

Location of 360 Tour

  • Go to the project's workspace folder, a PanoTour folder will have been added
  • Here you will find a text file that contains the URL to the finished tour
  • Copy and paste the link in your browser to load and view
