Adjust lighting in the scene
You can adjust the amount and the direction of natural light falling on your model based on the day of the year, location of your model and time of the day. This will help you understand the effect of natural light. To adjust the natural light setting follow below steps:
- Goto View Menu and select Scene Lighting option: This will open a widget that will allow you to set the location, time and day of the year according to your requirement.
- Select the date, time and location: Since the amount of sunlight received depends on the location, day of the year and time of the day, you can configure these details according to your requirements to check the natural light on your project.
- Changing the location: You can change the location by clicking on any location on the globe.
- Changing the Date: You can change the date of the year by dragging the slider under 'Time of year'
- Changing the time: You can change the time of the day by sliding the slider under 'Time of day'
- Render Mode: For interiors select 'Default' and for exteriors you can keep 'Default' or 'Exterior'
