The Basics: The Trezi Viewer

The Trezi Viewer is the main area of the application where you will be immersed in your design model and be able to experience, move around and interact with it.
The 2 areas of the Trezi Viewer are the Table Top and the Work Space.

The Table Top

After clicking the Launch In VR/Launch In Desktop button in the Trezi Launcher, you are placed in the Table Top area. Here your model is placed on top of a table. The model is presented at model scale. While in the Table Top you are able to interact with the model similarly as you would with a physical scale model.

The key features of the Table Top are
  • Horizontal, Vertical and Rotation section cut planes: More Details
  • Teleport to a location in model: 
    1. In VR Mode: Point right hand controller to a location and press trigger to teleport to that location.
    2. In desktop Mode: Move the mouse pointer to a location and press left click of the mouse to teleport to that location
  • Create video walkthrough: More Details
  • Create 360 Pano tour: More Details
  • Take 2D Screenshots: More Details

The Work Space

From the Table Top, you will teleport into your design model(s) and be immersed in your design at full scale. Here in the Work Space you have access to an array of features to help you further explore, experience, review and validate your design. 

Key features of the Work Space are:
  • Transform design objects - move, rotate, copy, paste, duplicate, delete
  • Material assignment
  • Trezi Library - browse, select and insert from over 800+ 3D objects
  • Time of Day - adjust the geographical location, day of year, and time of the day
  • Teleport - move around your design, go under objects, climb a flight of stairs
  • Screenshots - capture your design in images
  • Render mode - Black & White hidden line, white study model, full color
