Use the section cut tool at Tabletop

On the Trezi Table Top you may take horizontal or vertical section cuts of the model.

Using the Section Cut gizmo, select and drag any Section Cut symbol on the gizmo to horizontally or vertically cut the model.

In VR mode

  • Use the right-hand controller menu button to select which type of section you want to make
    • the default is horizontal
    • press the menu button to switch to vertical
    • press the menu button again to rotate the vertical cut plane
    • press the button again to switch to horizontal
  • Select any of the section cut symbols at the corners to drag the section cut plane to create the section
    • when taking a vertical section cut, there are two planes, each represented by a different color

In Desktop mode

  • Use the '2' key on the keyboard to switch between vertical and horizontal cut planes
    • the default is horizontal
    • press the '2' key to switch to vertical
    • press the '2' key again to rotate the vertical cut plane
    • press the '2' key again to switch to horizontal
  • Select any of the section cut symbols at the corners to drag the section cut plane to create the section
    • when taking a vertical section cut, there are two planes, each represented by a different color
